Full Service Horse Boarding

The Very Best Care For Your Very Best Friend
|
| Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve offers full board in our prestegious main barn. All stalls are 12 X 12, and bedded with generous amounts of fresh pine shavings. Stalls and water buckets are cleaned daily while your horse is enjoying his turn-out time.
|
Your horse is turned out either during the day or at night. We have nearly 10 acres of pasture for romping or grazing. Our pasture is improved meadowgrass. Fencing is a combination of wooden split-rail and smooth wire, reinforced by electric webbing. We make sure your horse is kept in as safe an environment as possible.

| Your horse is fed twice daily under the supervision of our facility manager, Collette McNell. Our feeding program is customized for each horse. Horses are fed twice a day, more often if medically required. Of course, if your horse has daily medications or supplements, we will add them as prescribed.
|
In addition to premium horse care, you also will have the use of our outstanding facility! We offer 2 riding rings, concrete wash racks, cross tied saddling areas, a private tack room and lounge, and of course, the 25 miles of excellent trails in the Moses Cone Memorial Park. Riding lessons and training are available for a fee, or you can bring your own instructor or trainer in. We also have a farrier on site for your shoeing needs (or you can have your own come in). Trailer parking is available on site at no additional charge.
Should special needs arise such as basic daily medical care for your horse, we will be glad to help you with that too. If your horse should become ill or injured, we have Dr. John Lang in nearby Linville ready to respond at a moments notice.
Keeping your horse at BREP is an all around winner! Please call us for rate information or any other questions you may have.
