Full Service Horse Boarding

The Very Best Care For Your Very Best Friend

Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve offers full board in our 36 stall primary barn. All stalls are 12 X 12, and bedded with generous amounts of fresh pine shavings. Stalls and water buckets are cleaned daily while your horse is enjoying his or her turn-out time.

Your horse is turned out either during the day or at night. We have nearly 10 acres of pasture for romping or grazing.  Fencing is a wooden split-rail, reinforced by electric webbing.

Your horse is fed twice daily under the supervision of our barn manager. Our feeding program is customized for each horse. Horses are fed twice a day, more often if medically required. Of course, if your horse has daily medications or supplements, we will add them as prescribed.

In addition to premium horse care, you also will have the use of our outstanding facility! We offer 2 riding rings, concrete wash racks, cross tied saddling areas, a private tack room, and of course, the 25 miles of excellent trails in the Moses Cone Memorial Park. Riding lessons and training are available for a fee. We also have a farrier on site for your shoeing needs.

Should special needs arise, such as basic daily medical care for your horse, we will be happy to accommodate at an additional charge. If your horse should become ill or injured, our vet, Dr. John Lang resides in nearby Linville.

We invite you to come by and check out our facilities. Please feel free to call us for rate information or any other questions you may have.

At BREP, your horse comes first!
